 Due to COVID-19 Shoreside Inn is taking steps to help protect the safety of our guests and ourselves.


*We will endeavour to provide our usual high quality level of service to all our guests, however some services and amenities may be reduced or unavailable due to Government Guidelines.

*Check in is between 4pm and 8pm - Departure will remain by 10.30am.

*We will text guests if their room becomes available earlier in the day (if mobile number is provided)

*We would be grateful if you could let us know an estimated time of arrival before your arrival date.

*We have implemented a stricter 'cleaning regime' and you'll also find electronic hand sanitiser stations on the entrance to the B&B, and also on the entrance to the Breakfast Room which you must use.

*Individually wrapped hand soap will be provided in your room as normal.

*We live on site, but to limit 'face to face' contact, we will provide all guests with our private mobile numbers & land line incase you need to contact us during your stay.

*We will be respecting social distancing and therefore limiting our interaction with all our guests. Although it is in our nature to interact, we do not feel this is appropriate at this time. We hope you understand that we are simply trying to do what is best, so we can protect our guests, ourselves and our business.

*Keys for the rooms will be disinfected before change over.

*Due to 'Track & Trace' only guests staying with us will be allowed into the building- No family or friends staying elsewhere will be allowed to enter.

*Regrettably we will no longer be able to book Restaurants, Pubs, Cafes or Taxis for guests.

*Non essential soft furnishings, booklets,leaflets and welcome packs have been removed from each room to follow Government Guidelines.

*Breakfast will be served, as normal between 8.30am and 9.30am. Our Breakfast Room will still be able to seat all 8 rooms, with a minimum 1mt distance between all tables.

*Breakfast will not be served in any bedrooms.

*The cereal/juice breakfast bar will no longer be available, but can still be served by request during breakfast time.

*We will still be 'servicing' your room daily, providing you have vacated your room, unless you request otherwise.

*Towels will be replaced every other day, but if you're happy to extend them for longer, please just let us know as it would be much appreciated at this current time.

*Face coverings MUST be worn by guests in all communal areas, including entering the Breakfast room, until seated.

*Please only travel if yourself and your partner feel well enough to do so, and neither of you have experienced any Covid-19 symptoms, 14 days prior to arrival date.

*If you experience symptoms whilst on holiday with us, please call 119 or visit to request a test immediately and then self isolate.

*If you have downloaded the NHS Track & Trace App, please scan the QR Code on entering the B&B, which is directly displayed inside the main door.

*If test is negative-carry on enjoying your holiday, if positive-you will need to return to your home address immediately.

*No refund will be given for loss of nights.

*If you have booked through our website or directly over the phone your booking will be non refundable 

*If you've booked through, Expedia or any other affiliates, you need to contact them directly, as your contract is made directly with them and not us.

*We will hold guests names & phone numbers securely for 21 days to comply with Government advice. 

*We strongly recommend that our guests take out holiday insurance before they travel.
